Series 7 Chair

The Series 7 chair, designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1955 and produced by Fritz Hansen, remains one of the most iconic pieces of modern furniture design. This particular example, finished in a coral pink tone, shows off the chair’s signature silhouette — a curved backrest and slim, stackable profile that blends elegance with everyday functionality. Light and comfortable, it works well in a range of interiors, from mid-century to contemporary. While the chair shows visible signs of wear on the painted wooden surface and some abrasions on the legs, it retains its classic presence and design integrity. The Superellipse table shown in the photos is available separately.

Arne Emil Jacobsen, (11 February 1902 – 24 March 1971) was a Danish architect and furniture designer. He is remembered for his contribution to architectural functionalism and for the worldwide success he enjoyed with simple well-designed chairs.
