The E-1027 Adjustable Table, designed by Eileen Gray in 1927, is a key piece of modern furniture. Gray created it for her villa, E-1027, on the French Riviera. The table has a glass top and a metal base. Its height can be adjusted, allowing it to function in a more versatile way. This design shows Gray's idea that furniture should meet the user's needs. The E-1027 table is recognized for its design and is an example of modernist style. In 1972, Classicon began producing it. Eileen Gray is known as a pioneer in modern design, and her work, including the E-1027 table, is highly valued. The table is a classic in 20th-century design. This particular piece is in a very nice condition, with small signs of abrasion, and scratches consistent with age and use.
