The Cassina Wink Lounge Chair, designed by Toshiyuki Kita in 1980, is a versatile chair that can turn into a chaise longue. Its steel frame allows the seat to fold forward. Kita says "Sitting on Wink gives the sensation of sitting on the floor, allowing your spirit to rise in alignment with Eastern traditions." The chair has modern dimensions and serves multiple purposes. When in the lounge position, it extends to 200 cm. It comes with two types of fabric: an outer cover and a removable linen textile in cream and purple colours. The removable part is in good shape and attaches with Velcro, while the black base fabric shows some fading from the sun. There are minor signs of wear on the plastic parts.
