Iva & Tao Dining Set (chair)
Iva dining chairs and Tao table for Stilwood, from 1972. The beautifully bent items were designed by Roberto Pamio & Renato Toso, and are made of oakwood, known for its robust strength, uniform textures and beautiful grain in its bark. Small signs of wear are visible on the surface, due to use.
Renato Toso was born in Murano (Venice, Italy) in 1940. He helped to establish an associated architectural and design studio called Noti Massari & Associates along with Roberto Pamio and Noti Massari. He's been working on public projects as well as with some of the most qualified companies (Artemide, Estel, Stilwood, ect.). They develop stands, exhibitions, stores and offices for different companies, taking care of their image and identity. His company received many design award, and their works have been exhibited in museums around the world, among the Palazzo Grassi in Venice, the Louvre in Paris, and the MoMA in New York.
