The Net chair, a creation by designer Daniele Molteni for Bontempi in 1998, is renowned for its modern and distinctive design, paired with unparalleled comfort and practicality. The tightly woven texplast/PP woven fabric create a visually stunning transparent-like, yet sturdy effect. With its stackable nature and adaptable qualities, these chairs are suitable for a range of environments, seamlessly transitioning from indoor to outdoor spaces, from the culinary hub of the kitchen to the cozy ambiance of the living room or a corner on the terrace. The set is in great vintage condition, however two of the chairs have minor white paint stains.
Daniele Molteni graduated from the State Institute of Art in Cantù, Italy, where he studied industrial design. Since the beginning, research and great interest in new materials characterized his art work which can be seen in chairs, tables and home decor he designed. His products pay attention to ergonomic dynamics and also transformability, when it is about sofas and beds.
